There are membership levels for everyone. Anyone interested in the society's work may apply for Alliance or Associate membership using the form below.

Note that only professional colorists with three years of experience may apply for full membership status. Applicants for full membership must provide information about two sponsors. You can provide contact details for two active Colorist Society full members as your sponsors, or we will accept recommendation letters from two employers or two clients. The letters must confirm that you’ve been working as a full-time colorist for three years and confirm that they have been paying clients for your colorist services. Letters from employers or clients must appear on company letterhead.

Please forward letters of reference to admin(AT)coloristsociety.com. If you are supported by Full Members or a Chapter of the Colorist Society please ask them to email the same address confirming your details.We will invoice you only after we have approved your application.

Please note that we process applications for full membership manually and it may take some time to receive approval.

Alliance Member - $75.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal (recurring payments) Open to cinematographers, producers, directors, editors, and others who are not colorists, but who have an interest in working with or communicating with the colorist community.

Alliance Members receive Society emails, but do not have access to the Members-only sections of the website and cannot use the CSI suffix after their names.

Associate Member - $50.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal (recurring payments) Associate Membership is for students and new professionals who have not yet qualified for full Membership.

Full Member Application Subscription period: Unlimited Select this option if you are applying to become a full member of the Colorist Society.

Membership fee is $120 US Dollars per year, but you will NOT be billed for your membership fee until after your application has been processed and accepted.
