On August 20, 2026, after the second day of BIRTV tradeshow closes, the 2026 BIRTV Mixer was held in Beijing. This event was hosted by the Colorist Society, co-organized by China Chapter and zunzheng. It attracts more than 100 professionals from film and television industry, professional creatives, top-notch colorists and sponsor representatives from home and abroad to gather together. The diverse, inclusive and lively party atmosphere of the event continued.

As the lights came on, people began to gather. Old acquaintances greeted each other, while others met for the first time and started chatting after seeing each other's name tags. This was the most natural state of the Mixer event.
Warmly Welcome the friends and companion from far distance!

For an industry event, Mixer serves more like a platform where "old acquaintances reunite, new friends meet," bringing together people from different stages of film and television production, different companies, and different cities.
The film and television industry is undergoing rapid changes: new technologies are iterating, creative methods are changing, and industry boundaries are constantly being redefined. It is precisely at such times that we need to believe in the power of human connection – the connection between people is becoming increasingly important.

For creatives, "connection" means the flow of inspiration and experience. A face-to-face exchange can help us meet a new partner, spark new ideas, or even facilitate a future collaboration.
For sponsors, "connection" means mutual help and support. They share experiences, cope with industry changes together, and look forward to a better future for the industry.

The industry's synchronized efforts encourage creators to maintain their passion and confidence in creation amidst change.
For the Colorist Society and China chapter, Mixer serves as an important platform to promote the development of color correction and grading art behind film and television production, allowing more professionals to focus on color correction and grading and explore more possibilities between technology and art.

In 2026, China Chapter has been exploring different ways to connect with the industry. In addition to offline gatherings like Mixer, the China Chapter also share color grading techniques, post-production experience and future industry insights through monthly online live-streaming. Through these events professional knowledge and industry perspectives can break through the limitations of time and space and reach more people in the industry.
The combination of online exchanges and offline meetings ensured that these connections is not limited at event venue, but became a continuous exchange throughout the year.

Special thanks to all our sponsors:
Aputure, Baselight, Blackmagic Design, DZOFILM, DaCaPo, HP, ASUS, LG, NanLux, Panasonic, Portrait Display/Calman, SanDisk, iFootage, Canon and zunzheng

Many thanks for their ongoing support for us. We hope that every meeting and every exchange will serve as a starting point to continuously connect people, manufacturers, and technologies within the industry, allowing the small changes happening at Mixer to gradually spread over time. Like a pebble thrown into water, the ripples don't stop at the moment it falls; they spread outwards, influencing more people and creating more new possibilities.
Meeting is the beginning; but change is already taking place.
